The three major components of a CTC are: Cash component (Base Salary, Joining Bonus, Performance Bonus, etc)

With this your base salary is only 50-60% of your CTC. So remember that you can negotiate to get low bonus and perks at the time of joining or raise.

Make sure to negotiate your salary. Most companies initially offer much lower than what they will be willing to pay you. You can negotiate and earn a lot more than what you get offered initially. Do not forget the power of compounding.
