We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Placement Lead at Lighthouse Communities Foundation.

Role overview:

The candidate will lead the placement partnerships for the Kaushalayam Project.

Your role in supplementing the Organisational goals:

  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with potential employers, industries, and organizations to create a network of placement opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of placement officers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Prepare a calendar for the job drives and employer connect.
  • Conducting employer due diligence before onboarding the employers.
  • Support Center Managers to deliver a sharp focus on achieving successful youth placements.

Who we are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a social work field.
  • Experience: 10-12 years of experience in Placements or Corporate Relations, preferably in the social sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in the English language is a must.
  • Project Management (To be able to drive the Employment Incubator sustainably)
  • Contacts with Head HRs or Business Heads with MNCs / Industry Associations like CII, MCCIA, GIZ
  • Thorough understanding of Industries like Manufacturing, Automobiles, Healthcare, Retail, BPO, IT, Logistics
  • Understanding of Skill India Initiatives / creation of Placement Ecosystem, exposure of Campus recruitment, NAPS / NATS / NULM etc
  • Willing to travel extensively to and within project locations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
